Jonathan J. Fox: Jonathan J. Fox is a founding partner of Oldfield, Fox & Sarna, P.C.. Mr. Fox was born in Chicago, Illinois, on March 19, 1964, and Chicago has always been his home. Mr. Fox graduated from Southern Illinois University (SIU) in 1987 with a B.A. in Communications and a second major concentration in Advertising. While in attendance at SIU, he was employed by the SIU Arena first as Assistant Marketing Director and then Marketing Director. In 1986, Mr. Fox was awarded the Southern Illinois University College of Communications Award For High Achievement. After graduating from SIU, Mr. Fox spent several years in the broadcast advertising field. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Fox was a partner in a small marketing and public relations firm. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1995, after attending the John Marshall Law School and obtaining his Juris Doctor (J.D., 1995) degree.

Mr. Fox applies to the practice of law his extensive communications skills and experience in public relations and understanding of people and business, focusing predominately in the areas of corporate and commercial business transactions, litigation and collections, family law, real estate and personal injury. He is a member in good standing of the DuPage County, West Suburban, Illinois State and American Bar Associations. Mr. Fox currently sits on the DuPage County Civil Law and Practice Committee and the DuPage County Family Law Committee.

Richard F. Sarna: Position: Partner. Richard F. Sarna received his Juris Doctorate law degree from DePaul University School of Law in 1973, following matriculation from Loyola University in Chicago. Before merging his practice with Oldfield, Fox & Sarna, P.C., he was a partner in a long-standing and respected Oak Brook law firm specializing in corporate, business, tax, real estate and estate planning for a variety of clients having a local as well as national presence. Mr. Sarna was also former associate counsel to a Fortune 500 corporation concentrating in diverse contract and leasing arrangements, anti-trust, price discrimination, securities, and national television advertising matters.

Mr. Sarna concentrates in advising businesses in all matters associated with their general day-to-day and long-range operations and planning, including compliance concerns under mandates prescribed under a variety of state and federal laws. He brings extensive general counsel experience providing legal advice to ownership concerning internal and family-related succession, reorganization and recapitalization matters and planning. To complement these areas of practice, Mr. Sarna has been involved in estate and trust planning and administration, and has served as sole or co-fiduciary applying his wealth of experience in those particular disciplines.

Mr. Sarna is a devoted father to three wonderful children. During his spare time he is an opera and classical music enthusiast, assistant coach in various local school and park district sports activities, and enjoys playing a round of golf now and then. He is also an amateur astronomer and when afforded the opportunity is delighted to demonstrate the operation of his computer-driven telescope, which, under dark skies, digital snapshots of the heavens can be taken and displayed for future viewing and research.

Mr. Sarna is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, The American Judicature Society, and is active in civic and local organizations.
